Required Experience and Technical Skills:
Tech Lead Informatica Power Centre
• 10+ years' experience in BI architecture. Should have minimum 5 years of experience in Informatica Power center 8.x/9.x designing ETL mappings and workflows.
• Strong DWH Design and Data modelling experience
• Analyzing the requirement document and understanding key architectural and design requirement, functional use cases.
• Hands-on experience with data architecting, large-scale data modelling, and business requirements gathering/analysis.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work in a team environment
• Should have Understanding of Data Warehouse Architecture and experience in designing data modeling (dimensional, relational, star schema's, snowflake schema modeling with facts and dimensions)
• Should be able to understand the business requirements and design ETL mapping and workflows using Informatica power center
• Should be Proficient in building ETL interfaces using Informatica Power Center Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor and Repository Manager.
• Should have experience in Performance tuning of ETL mappings in Informatica.
• Should have experience in Data Modeling using ERWIN & Visio
• Strong SQL programming skills and strong RDBMS knowledge including the ability to analyze and debug complex SQL queries.
• Should have experience in creation of Database objects like Stored Procedures, Functions and Triggers in database languages like PL/SQL
• Any industry experience in Healthcare, Pharma and Life Sciences would be a plus.
• Work with the offshore team to help understand the data model and answer the queries - help in finding alternate data paths (code help as well sometimes) to achieve the business objective
