Role: Senior UAT Tester (10+Yrs Expr)
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 6 months – long term contract
Rate: DOE
Need folks having 10 years + experience
Looking for a senior UAT tester to work on an exciting mobile project
UAT tester should have experience working in an Agile team on Web Applications.
Experience working in cross functional teams and in providing business users feedback.
Experience working with new features as well as support or enhancements to an existing web property.
Excellent communication skills are needed.
Responsibilities:
* Attends and actively participates in story refinement / business requirements gathering sessions
* Review Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Test Cases to understand the functional and technical requirements in order to test the application and verify requirements are successfully met
* Create / update Acceptance Criteria as needed - particularly during story refinement and business requirements sessions
* Participate in User Story sizing and test effort estimation
* Prepare and execute test scripts; document bugs for test scripts where the actual results do not successfully meet expected results - responsible for the alignment to acceptance criteria
* Regular and engaged attendance at team meetings – work is onsite with team
* Support agile teams to ensure team goals are met
* Work with appropriate resources to determine the acceptable range for test results
* Work with appropriate teams to identify appropriate data for testing – this may include defining test data for various scenarios
* Facilitate resolution and communication of cross–application / organization issues and decisions – as related to testing or as assigned
* Assist Web Application Developers and Technical Support staff in identifying and resolving problems – this may relate to defects or to other issues in consistency / etc that increase application quality and user experience
