Job Description:
Defines business/system requirements by facilitating user meetings and interviewing users, developing use cases, and researching and resolving issues. Participates in business analysis project planning and management by documenting and maintaining plans, managing issue logs and preparing project documentation. Analyzes current processes and recommends solutions and improved processes. May also oversee the acquisition, analysis and dissemination of subject matter knowledge. Provides technical and business knowledge to clients. Keeps abreast of technological and competitive developments. Conducts research on industry practices and standards and other benchmarking data. Codes and maintains business application programs from user instructions or formal functional specifications. Experience in the analysis and testing phases in the development cycle. In addition having experience of 6+ years.
Additional Job Details:
This position will be working on one project, Project Beacon to replace our existing vendor management system, IQNavigator, with a new system, Beeline. The application has been rolled out to 26 countries where the tool supports temporaries, statement of work and/or headcount tracking in some or all countries. There are 17 expected new integrations into and out of the tool that our IT and the supplier will manage. This role may help identify current workflows by country as it relates to the category of temporary, SOW or headcount as well as local invoicing. This BA may lead/drive one of the 11 work streams from the client perspective discussing requirements with users then documenting results. This also may include analyzing current and future processes. Any experience in or understanding of the contingent labor industry is a plus. Any project or program rollout at a global level is a plus. They should have a general business understanding on how labor the various Contingent Labor categories are requisitioned and filled with Vendor Management Systems (VMS). Experience with project rollouts or implementations of SaaS applications a plus. Advanced Excel, Visio and PowerPoint skills with an understanding of how swim lanes are set up. The individual will be working in MS Project but will not be developing the project plan. Must have strong analytical skills and problem solving skills.
Top Three Must Have skills: 1. Strong analytical and problem solving skills; willing to ask why and dig for answers 2. Advanced PC skills particularly Excel, Visio and PowerPoint 3. Project management, communication and relationship management skills
