 QA Analyst

6 month contract
Jacksonville, FL 

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION 

• Ditech is currently seeking a QA Analyst within Technology Services.
• This key position develops and executes all phases of quality assurance.
• This includes assistance in preparing the test environment and executing manual and automated testing.
• The position requires that the person has a solid knowledge of QA Deliverables and is proficient in multiple methodologies.
• This position will certify that deliverables have met all business and quality requirements.
• This position requires the candidate to possess analytical skills to analyze and decompose complex requirements into comprehensive test cases. 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES (essential job functions) 
1. Validate project Business requirements for System and System Integration testing. 
2. Create and maintain system, integration and regression test cases. 
3. Assist in developing test strategy documentation 
4. Execute both automated and manual tests 
5. Identify and execute Regression test cases 
6. Coordinate and participate in the execution of integration tests 
7. Verify that project documentation is completed 
8. Verify that required Quality Assurance document reviews have been completed 
9. Perform analysis of application changes and create test cases to ensure the quality of those changes. 
10. Perform analysis of test coverage and outcomes for each application release and advises of estimated risk. 
11. Provide recommendations and changes to process improvement. 
12. Other duties as assigned. 

SELECTION CRITERIA (essential job functions and job requirements) 
1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a related field. 
2. 5 years experience in creating manual test cases and automated test scripts. 
3. Proficient knowledge in HP and MS ALM tools. 
4. Proficient knowledge in Industry standard Defect Management or ALM tools Ability to read and comprehend complex business requirements. 
5. Experience testing client-server, web applications, and console automations. 
6. Writing and executing SQL statements using industry standard tools (Db Visualizer, TOAD, etc). 
7. Systems analysis experience is desirable. 
8. Ability to interact effectively with developers and business analysts. 
9. Excellent writing skills and problem solving skills. 
10. Experience in testing within the Mortgage Industry is preferred but not required. 
11. Experience with other industry standard QA tools will be considered.
