.NET Developer
6 month contract
Jacksonville, FL
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
The .NET Developer at Ditech is responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining applications to support loan servicing on MSP. This role has the opportunity to work with a variety of personnel to create, test and deploy technical solutions in support of our business.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES (essential job functions)
1. Work with Business Analysts and customers to understand and validate end-user requirements in accordance with business need.
2. Create and document technical designs to achieve project requirements.
3. Complete development/programming as described in design specifications.
4. Prepare or review unit test plans and execute unit testing.
5. Participate in system and user acceptance testing tasks as assigned.
6. Responsible for the maintenance of Green Tree best practice development standards and methodology.
7. Provide end-user support for assigned applications (includes some on-call support during non-business hours.)
8. Modify, enhance and maintain applications as required.
9. Maintain the integrity of applications.
10. Investigate and resolve system problems in a timely manner.
11. Update system documentation as needed.
12. Develop strong relationships with partners and end-users that allow work to move forward with a common understanding.
SELECTION CRITERIA (essential job functions and job requirements)
1. Bachelor's Degree followed by 3-5 years of progressive experience or equivalent work experience.
2. Solid understanding of the Microsoft .NET platform with recent development experience C#.
3. Strong middle to back-end development experience.
4. Strong SQL skills preferably with SQL Server.
5. Strong background in object oriented development techniques.
6. Experience deploying and configuring enterprise applications.
7. Strong prioritization and interpersonal skills to balance multiple demands.
8. MSP/Mortgage servicing industry experience a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITITIES
1. Strong verbal and written skills
2. Proven ability to take leadership role on larger tasks
3. Self-starter; able to search for solutions
4. Strong and thorough understanding of project life cycle
