Currently we are looking for "QA Analysts". The requirement details are given below.

 

Job Title: QA Analysts

Location: Basking Ridge, NJ travel for this will most likely be from NJ to VT

Duration: 12+months

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:

Skills: Automated Testing is going to be key with these roles.  ALM/QTP /HQC  ----

IT - Quality Consultant

  • IT Quality Consultant, you would work as a part of a dynamic team involved with New Jersey Delivery Center and supporting State HIX projects, and other testing for new systems and/or enhancements with a focus on automated testing tools (QTP)
  • Any work with EDI is a plus.
  • Candidates will develop test script and test plan creation and maintenance, defect tracking and reporting.


Responsibilities include:

  • Analyse and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases for  State Exchange (HIX) projects
  • Ability to write test cases and execute testing
  • Product test and driving defect resolution
  • Assist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases and plans
  • Establish and maintain test cases and test data
  • Create and maintain test cases in Quality Center
  • Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance
  • Work with business users, system analysts, designers and programmers to create and analyse various required project documents
  • Participate in production implementation verification and being accountable for validating system qualityPlan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects
  • Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality within Information Technology software
  • Comply with standards of the software development life cycle and follow strategies, plans and procedures within information Technology software
  • Comply with standards and strategies of the software development life cycle
  • Design and develop detailed test cases from complex business requirements
  • Prepare test data to support test cases
  • Execute test cases
  • Record and prioritize test defects
  • Troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing; triage and root cause analysis
  • Coordinate with Release Manager to ensure environments contain proper code release and data for testing
  • Communicate testing status and escalate testing issues to the Project Manager
  • Coordinate with PM on matters of test data and test plans to maximize efficiency across test phases
  • Work with PM and Business to select/create test scenarios from user stories for User Acceptance Testing
  • Support UAT testing execution, data requirements, and defect resolution
    Ability to travel to customer and client sites.
