Title: Database PostgreSQL Developers
Location: Dallas TX/Remote
Duration: 3-6months
The need is for hands on architects to design and develop custom stored procedures using PL/pgSQL in conjunction with Green Plum data appliance. Past experience with custom data transformations and stored procedures with large data volumes. Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL may be an optional replacement for the PL/pgSQL experience. Must have experience with data modeling (3NF, dimensional). Knowledge of InforSphere Information Server (DataStage) and Cognos Framework Manager is a plus.
The work location will initially be in Dallas, but there is a strong likelihood that remote work will be possible once the initial understanding of the environment, architecture and requirements have been established.
Duration is for 3 months of work with the possibility of additional work in the future.
