Job Description:
The client is seeking a SharePoint Architect contractor for the NCDOT wide Content Management Program - 3C and Data Services project and other related projects. The selected candidate will:
•Work with a team of architects to analyze and define best practices related to claims based authorizations, content deployment , metadata management, workflow management, application development and operational management to include performance sizing and scaling.
• Assist in deployment of SharePoint 2013
•Assist in integrating SharePoint 2013 claims based authorizations with a 3rd party identity management tool.
• Assist in content migration and definition of a content deployment plan.
• Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions and document individual solution architectures to support multiple searches and solutions implemented across various content clusters within the Content Management environment.
• Act as SharePoint design & integration technical consultant with other architects in order to support an integrated enterprise approach.
• Create documentation and provide knowledge transfer to other team members.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Required:
• Experience designing and implementing Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and 2013 to include sizing, scaling and all other aspects of both platform and solution architecture design .
• Experience with claims based authorizations in SharePoint 2010 and knowledge of claims based authorizations in SharePoint 2013. Experience with integrating SharePoint claims authorizations with a third party identity management solution.
• Experience implementing Metadata Driven Search on the SharePoint 2013 including integration with multiple external content sources.
• Experience with developing custom document processing capabilities in SharePoint 2013
• Minimum of 7 + years of total experience administering SharePoint (2007 , 2010, 2013)
• Minimum of 3 + years .NET development or application architecture experience
