Job Title:Java Architect/Tech Lead
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 12+ months
 
Primary Skills:
8+ years of experience in the field of Java/J2EE
 
Description:
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills "
• 8+ years of experience in the field of Java/J2EE
• 3+ years of experience with Springs/Hibernate/JSF
• 4+ years of experience with Websphere 6.0 or 7.0
• 3+ years of experience in leading and mentoring team at Architect level
• Advanced SQL coding skills 
• Solid understanding of Data Modeling concepts 
• Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Roles and responsibility "• Involve in Architectural activities in major & minor system changes
• Prepare technical design for the changes/Enhancements
• Build/Enhance the system components for various DPE (Direct Pricing Engine) projects with initial emphasis on conversion of DPE Database from DB2 to Oracle DB followed by RMS Item Media changes.
• Work with other JCP technical team members that may be needed for project delivery
• Prepare a weekly project status report for management outlining weekly tasks and project deliverables which will include any issues or risks and a mitigation plan"
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills " • Knowledge and Experience in MQ 
• Knowledge and Experience in DB2 Open System databases
• Retail related experience a plus 
• Experience in Projects with Database Migration"
