Role : Quality Engineer
Duration : 6 Months
Work location: Murrysville, PA
Experience : 0-5 Yrs
· Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:
· Strong verbal, written, communication and presentation skills
· Working knowledge and experience in an ISO 9000 environment.
· Thorough understanding of the principles of the ASQ CQE Body of Knowledge.
· Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a positive and proactive way.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks, solve technical problems, work effectively in cross-functional teams, and lead projects.
· Proficiency in the use of statistical methods and Minitab statistical software.
· Experience in lean manufacturing, kaizen and six sigma methodologies.
· Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Project.
· Ability to perform and lead in a team oriented environment.
· Highly motivated and committed to success.
· Preferred: Experience with SAP
Education and experience required:
· Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline, preferably from an ABET-Accredited college or university.
· This position is available at three different career levels based upon experience, education, etc:
· Level one: no experience required
· Level two: 3 years of relevant experience
· Level three: 5 years of relevant experience required
Preferred:
· ASQ Quality Engineer certification
· Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
