We are urgently looking for Data Architect with one of our client in Philadelphia, PA
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6+ months
Interview: phone+webex interview
Rate : Upto $64 per hr on c-c all incl
The position is for a senior data architect in the Data Administration Division of the Bureau of Business Solutions and Services at PennDOT. This position will be responsible for leading the logical and physical data modeling efforts to support transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) solutions on large enterprise projects. Responsibilities will include logical and physical data modeling, design and creation of database objects (e.g., tables, views, stored procedures) and working closely with the business users, developers, and DBA's.
Skills and Experience:
· Required: 5+ years of OLTP data modeling (logical and physical)
· Required: 2+ years as a lead data architect with sole responsibility for large OLTP data models
· Required: 9-10+ years overall IT experience
· Required: Experience using Erwin or similar data modeling tool(s)
· Required: Strong Structured Query Language (SQL) skills
· Required: 3+ years of database development in a DB/2, Oracle or SQL Server
· Required: Highly developed oral and written communication skills
· Desired: Experience working with Mainframe DB2
· Desired: Experience working with Oracle 11g
· Desired: Experience with analytical (OLAP) data models in a data warehouse environment
· Desired: Experience using Erwin data modeling tool
· Desired: Experience working as an application developer in Java or .NET
