Front-end Developer - ASP.NET developer
We're looking for an individual who will contribute to the front-end development group in creating outstanding experiences for our usersThe ideal candidate will be building and supporting high-profile, highly interactive, extremely fast customer-facing web and mobile applications. They will have expert knowledge of core web technologies (ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and will be able to show examples of sophisticated front-end solutions they have developed. They will have integrated well-designed front-end architectures with template frameworks and complex back-end data and content management systems. They will have collaborated with team members in design and engineering to deliver them in highly scalable ways.
Responsibilities
ASP.NET developer on the front-end development team
Developing and supporting client-side engineering solutions which deliver outstanding and highly-performing user experience
Drive continuous improvements in performance, scalability, reliability and usability
Required Skills / Experience
5-7 years of developing and delivering customer facing web or mobile experiences
Expert knowledge of front-end web technologies including .NET, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, DOM Scripting, and W3C DOM methods and properties
SQL Server backend experience
Strong experience with JavaScript and CSS Frameworks (like JQuery)
Strong technical knowledge and skills in object-oriented design as applied to user interface development including software design patterns, MVC architecture, and deployment architectures
Deep knowledge of web UI architecture and presentation layer technologies such as JSP, XHTML
Strong understanding and experience with data manipulation technologies such as web services, REST, JSON, SOAP, XSD, and XML
Experience with developing for mobile form factors and/or progressive enhancement techniques
Technology implementation experience in a Java environment
Strong ability to translate requirements into quick prototypes for iterative user feedback
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and group presentations)
