We have an immediate opening for PeopleSoft Senior Analyst
Role : PeopleSoft Senior Analyst
Location : Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Duration : 6 - 12 Months
Our CLIENT is currently using PeopleSoft HCM 8.8 with PeopleTools 8.44 and is looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Senior Analyst to complement our in-house resources in support of our PeopleSoft application and technical environment.
5.0 SCOPE OF WORK
Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise systems in the Information Services Division, the PeopleSoft Senior Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and documenting the "as is" and "to be" technical solutions for the Human Resource and Payroll system requirements.
The PeopleSoft Senior Analyst will:
a) Provide PPIIMS Technical and Functional support as and when required to augment the CLIENT internal HR/Payroll Support Team;
b) Act as the primary resource on the project team for analyzing and documenting CLIENT requirements for HR and Payroll, including:
i.) Existing PPIIMS interfaces.
ii.) Analysis of CLIENT customization
iii.) Analysis of changes in version upgrade.
c) Act as a technical resource on the project team for working with external BC Government agencies in developing service delivery models and systems.
d) Investigate and document the options for PPIIMS maintenance and support of version 8.44 past December 2013, including future tax updates.
e) Act as a lead technical resource to perform a fit-gap analysis comparing PeopleSoft 8.8 versus PeopleSoft 9.1.
f) Consult with the business and technical subject matter experts, recommend and develop technical solutions for delivered and custom HR and payroll system requirements.
g) Define, develop, unit test and document system solutions using CLIENT methodologies and templates.
h) Provide knowledge transfer to project team members.
Application:
• Substantial experience with Peoplesoft HRMS including HR, Base Benefits, Payroll, Time and Labor and Enterprise Learning.
• Proficiency and experience with creating accurate SQR reports based on User requirements using all Peoplesoft HRMS modules.
• Demonstrated experience documenting technical solutions including cost benefit, alternatives analysis, risk assessment and recommendations. The PeopleSoft Senior Analyst is expected to use CLIENT methodology and templates.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to solicit requirements, communicate system functionalities and share knowledge to other CLIENT team members.
• Expertise with PeopleSoft delivered programming languages such as Time and Labor Rules, Application Engine and PeopleCode
• Experience with the Unix operating system and Unix Shell Programming language.
Infrastructure:
• Understanding of and experience with Integration Broker.
• PeopleSoft Windows based Application Server installation and maintenance.
• PeopleSoft Windows based Web Server installation and maintenance.
