 TITLE: BUILD ENGINEER

LOCATION: Des Moines, IA

DURATION: 6 to 18 months

NUMBER OF OPENINGS: 2

 

Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives. Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing. Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.: 10+ years application development and implementation experience.

Not Pre-filled. Candidates Required. Build Engineer - Solid understanding of the build, release & deploy process including recent experience working as part of a build team in an enterprise environment - Experience with source code management tools (Subversion), and Build creation tools (Maven, ANT) - Experience with Branching and Merging in a multi-project environment - Experience managing multiple pom files in a multi-project environment - Experience with the process of Continuous Integration - Experience with the process of deploying EAR, WAR, JAR files to application server - Experience with Linux scripting, (Python, Jython), system process automation - Experience working directly with multiple Development teams and enforcing build and deploy processes - Current or recent experience as a J2EE developer, including proven experience in developing application code - Ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must be able to communicate well to all levels of management - Ability to successfully interact across multiple levels of an organization.
