GIS Analyst/Developer

Location: Milburn NJ

Duration: 6 Months

 

 

SUMMARY:

Analyst/Developer with experience in Geographic Information Systems and specifically the ESRI Product Portfolio.  The role will require data preparation and cleansing, setup and administration of spatial databases and may also include the generation of maps and graphical outputs for reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Demonstrable experience with ESRI products such as ArcGIS for Desktop, ArcGIS for Server or ArcSDE, ideally within an Oracle database environment.

Ability to effectively present information in both spoken and written form.  Work well individually or within a small team with little supervision and possess the ability to work under pressure and to rapidly evolving deadlines.

 

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with a major or minor in Geography or related field; or Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, with training in GIS technology; or one or more years related GIS experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Any experience with AutoCAD, Utilities or Asset Management datasets or any software development experience with Microsoft .NET languages would be advantageous.
