Quality Assurance Engineer

St Paul, MN

12 month contract

 

They need experience in automated testing and simulation.

FDA and ISO compliance experience is a plus/ highly desired

 Local candidates preferred

 
Responsibilities Include
• Leading the development and execution of the full V&V lifecycle for enterprise application software products and medical device software
• Developing and maintaining test plans and test methodology
• Driving test automation and scripting using Microsoft Test Manager and Team Foundation Server
• Participating on software Change Control Board and ECR/ECO process
• Evaluating software quality testing and automation processes and lead process changes that ensure highest software quality deliverables and improve testing cycle times
• Supporting ongoing process and methodology (Scrum) improvements
• Evaluating, analyzing and designing automation to convert manual test suites in the areas of test execution

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5-10 years experience in Software Quality or related role
• Experience with automated testing, simulation, and defect management tools
• Skilled in software engineering methodologies, software quality documentation, V&V, and commercialization of software products
• Strong written and oral communications

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with regulated software product quality assurance processes
• FDA and ISO compliance experience (esp. QSR, Part 11, and IEC 62304)
• Experience with Microsoft software product development tools including Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, and Test Manager
• Experience leading offshore testing resources
• Agile Scrum methodology
