Job Title San Storage Admin - IT (Retail)

Relevant Experience (Yrs) 6-7 Years of San Storage

Roles & Responsibilities Required

Experienced Consultant with Minimum 6-7 Years EMC DMX,VMAX / Cisco Fabric Manager Experience
· Ability to understand customer requirements & Migrate host from legacy to new Switch/Fabric Cisco MDS 9148's
· Strong Understanding of SAN Fabric concepts
· Hands-on experience in add, remove zoning using Cisco DCNM/Fabric Mgr
· Experience in mapping & masking storage to hosts on EMC DMX, VMAX & VPLEX.
· Perform troubleshooting for issues in san storage & fabric related during Migration.
· Ability to interact well with (and support) business users of the system
· Follow established processes, policies, and procedures for designing, developing, and implementing system solutions.
· Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization (analyst to vice-president)
· Strong interpersonal and written skills
· Understanding of Operating system(aix, Hp-ux, linux) concepts required
· Work with Server admin & make sure the Migration is well co-ordinated.
· Understanding of IBM hardware IBM P5 VIO/VOI concepts.
· Familiarity and knowledge of retail specific processes, and practices will be added advantage
· Relevant Certification will be added advantage




Generic Managerial Skills Team Lead experience

Duration 6 - 12 Months

Work Location Onsite: Atlanta; GA
