Job Title: SAP Testing Coordinator
Location: St. Louis, MO
Duration: 6+ Months
Supply Chain IT has immediate openings for a SAP Testing Coordinator. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work as part of an innovative, team-focused, dynamic project team implementing a Global Trade Management (GTM) software solution. Responsibilities include:
Owning the testing process and responsibility for the planning, coordination and administration of the remaining testing activities.
Utilizing project management tools, processes and metrics to support execution of the testing cycles.
Logistics coordination - reserve and set up conference rooms, work with IT on connectivity, arrange for refreshments.
Event planning - work with Subject Matter Expert (SME) participation as testers, work with functional leads to develop scripts, and prepare daily schedule of tests.
Works effectively with the business to quickly learn the culture and relationships.
Translates functional requirements into test scripts.
Facilitates User Acceptance Test sessions with customers, assigning defects to appropriate project team members and tracking resolution to completion
Validates functional requirements through implementation.
May assist in development of recommendations based on analysis.
Required skills:
Experience with SAP testing environment
Project management training and/or experience, prior system implementation experience.
Organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, capable of working with minimal supervision, ability to work with and interact with various levels within the organization.
Ability to effectively use all Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Visio, Project).
Understanding of interfaces between SAP and non-SAP system, EDI/IDOC, master data, and inbound to SAP message processing highly desired.
Good relationship and networking skills. Ability to build relationships within the team and outside the team, across Business groups, other IT teams, and global regions.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, strong critical thinking skills and the ability to be decisive while working cooperatively with others
Desired skills/experience (at least 3):
Functional experience with SAP SD, Stock Transport Orders, Shipping, and/or Transportation.
Prior experience mapping SAP transactional information into proprietary formats
Prior experience supporting the triggering, extract & transformation processes between internal SAP and external system
Knowledge of: Sales Documents, Purchase Orders, Billing, Deliveries, Shipments, and Shipment Cost documents. Strong implementation experience with Inter-company Stock Transport Orders is a plus.
Working knowledge of imports, exports, and trade compliance business processes.
Experience with SAP and integrations with a Global Trade Management solution.
MBA / MIS
Ability to creatively solve problems and provide timely and sound recommendations
