Requirements:
5+ years of performance testing experience utilizing LoadRunner.
Must be an expert in performing load and stress testing and performance analysis using Load Runner.
Must be an expert in VuGen scripting.
Must be proficient in the programming language C.
Must be capable of scripting in the following Protocols.
Web (HTTP/HTML)
Ajax TruClient
Windows Sockets
Web Services
Must have working knowledge with the following tools/technologies
ALM 11
LoadRunner – VuGen
LoadRunner – Analysis
Sitescope
C
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must display strong teamwork, communication, multi-tasking and problem solving skills.
Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with all levels of management and the ability to effectively collaborate with different people both horizontally as well as vertically.
Other:
There will be a test given to prove VuGen scripting and C programming knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Create LoadRunner scripts/scenarios that can be predictive of production performance and utilized to address load related issues prior to launching major releases.
Define, implement and enforce Load Test policies and procedures using Load Runner.
Develop performance scripts to simulate the functionality of multiple applications working together.
Participate in the planning, design, and requirements gathering phases of the project life cycle, as needed.
Work with a team of performance engineers to gather load test requirements, designing the test, developing the necessary scripts, coordinating and running the test.
Execute Load Test Scenarios that simulate a production load across multiple applications
Fully analyze load test results, compare them with baseline, correlate performance metrics, identify any potential performance vulnerabilities, isolate them, and suggest solutions.
Interact with Development, DBAs, System Engineers and other groups to present, isolate and resolve performance issues.
Validate and document product performance across releases to show how overall performance is trending as we continue to roll out new site functionality or make updates.
Develop and maintain the Load Runner Test Script library.
Maintain the load test environment at all levels - code, data, and scripts.
