Job Description
• Experience as SAS Administrator 4+ years minimum
• Certified SAS Administrator
• Experiences on managing SAS grid servers.
• Experiences on Installation and configuration of SAS 9.4
• Good in communication
• Experience in Telecom Domain (Good to have)
• Experience in SAS grid environment
• Experience in installation and configuration of SAS 9.4
• Monitor the platform health
• Setup automated alerts and monitors to prevent failures
• Develop/Debug UNIX scripts for system maintenance
• Update existing monitors to improve efficiency
• Maintain LSF operations on the SAS GRID
• Monitor Job Count, Memory and CPU health using RTM for LSF
• Manage Backup and Restore for SAS Metadata
• Perform Cleanup activities (Log/ Dumps / cache / Workspace)
• Identify and apply hot fixes and maintenance packages
• Renew licenses and certificates as required
• Manage and monitor user access to the environment
• Execute Preventive maintenance activities to maintain system health
• Execute System readiness tests when required
• Resolve Tickets and incidents reported by platform users
• Suggest and implement system improvements for the platform
• Co-ordination with application & Infrastructure Teams for new application setup
• Co-ordination with vendor and application during hardware/software upgrades
• Create and present reports on system performance and health
