We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.
This is a 3-6 Month Contract position based in Sunnyvale, CA
Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract
Job Description:
At least 8 years of IT experience, including 3+ years in DevOps/CICD ·
Docker, Marathon & Mesos experience is MANDATORY ·
Experience with Ansible & one of the other IT automation tools, such as Puppet, Chef and Rundeck ·
Know how to write simple Ansible playbook and troubleshot issues. · Strong Linux system administration knowledge is required ·
Need to have used Docker for at least 6 month on a daily basis (wrote docker file, troubleshoot containers, run build, understand docker fundamentals) ·
Seasoned in Jenkins (setup jobs, workflow and multi-node Master/Slave Jenkins cluster) ·
Understand Maven project object model (can structure a project into maven modules, write POM from scratch with profiles) ·
In depth knowledge of version control tools, in particular GIT and Subversion. Should be able to write hooks to enforce policy. ·
Solid scripting experience in at least one of the following: Bash, Python, Ruby or Perl. · Java/J2ee Background ·
Python experience is highly desirable · Good to have: Tomcat, SQL, Splunk. · Flexible and open to learn new tools/technologies ·
Good communication skills as would need to drive the DevOps discussions with Client directly ·
Can do attitude for complex tasks Note: We appreciate not to see any rejects at screening stage due to poor quality.
