.Net Developer
Location: Omaha, NE
This position will focus on helping build out the platform. They want collaborative, non-heads down types who have a wide range of skills and experiences. While the platform is probably .NET, they're open to Java candidates with strong microservices, security and authentication, and again, startup type experience. Containers, cloud services, and other cutting edge technologies are important but not necessarily the most important things.
What these positions will do:
- Architect and build a scalable platform that will serve as our foundation
- Play an integral part in the design and building of products that will change the way people think and act
- Making high-level decisions about customer experience and application architecture
- Collaborate with customers, partners and other smart creatives to identify and solve common pain points
- Identify and experiment with new technologies and solutions
- Have a little, no a lot of fun while tackling problems that impact all of us
Qualifications for these roles:
- 5 - 10 years' experience in software development/engineering, integration and architecture proven C# and .NET
- Significant experience required with MVC, REST, HTML, XML/XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Security
- Hands on development experience with development techniques such as mocking and Inversion of Control techniques
- 3 - 5 years in a technical leadership role; tactical and strategic
- Experience with cloud-based providers such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
- Experience in container technologies and writing containerized software (Docker, lxc, kubernetes, mesos, Azure Service Fabric)
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
- Excellent leadership, teambuilding and collaboration
- Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
