Position: SharePoint Admin with SharePoint Online(O365)
Duration: Atlanta GA
Location: 6+ months
Experience: 6 +
Primary skills:
SharePoint Admin with SharePoint Online
Description:
A SharePoint Administrator is required NOT a SharePoint Developer
The Administrator should have direct experience of SharePoint Online (O365) not just on premise. Client stated clearly, if the candidate only has SharePoint on premise experience and no O365 experience then they would not be a fit. ( this is due to the fact that the way that you administer SharePoint Online (O365) is different to the way that you administer SharePoint on premise
The candidate will have to communicate directly with the business when resolving tickets, therefore good communication skills are very important
The candidate may have to write some PowerShell scripts, so experience of this is a must. (most administrators can do this)
Client not expected to write code, however any code related support issues that come up could be supported by offshore
Off shore team could be a mix of O365 administrator and a more development focused resource.
Client stated on the call, that any proposed candidates now need to be reviewed by their own technical architect, so important that we present strong candidates
