Windows System Administrator

Long Term

Washington, DC

 

Windows Server

·        Experience serving as a lead engineer in an environment with more than 20 Windows Servers

·        Proficiency using PowerShell to administer Windows Servers and automate maintenance tasks

·        Experience using tools to automate the process of creating and configuring Windows Servers

VMware

·        Experience serving as a lead engineer managing multiple VMware ESX clusters

·        Understanding of key VMware ESX architectural concepts and administration tasks

·        Ability to demonstrate proficiency in all of the above

·        Experience with PowerCLI

·        Server hardware and supporting technologies

·        Knowledge and experience of general networking and DNS technologies

·        Ability to troubleshoot issues associated with the above

·        Familiar with HP hardware, Integrated Lights-Out Management, HP Systems Insight Manager

·        Experience administering SAN-based disk storage on Windows Server

Project management

·        Experience working as part of a project team

·        Experience using Microsoft Project to update tasks, schedules, etc
