Position: UI developer
Location: Herndon, VA or Reston, VA
We need to continue our search for strong UI developers with Angular JS, CSS 3 and HTML 5 skills.
Minimum 8 years of experience in designing and developing web & Mobile based user interfaces.
• Good Communication Skills
• Strong background and hands-on experience in developing with HTML5, HTML, CSS3, JavaScript (AJAX, DOM, JSON), jQuery, Flash and XML
• Should have worked using CSS3, SASS, SCSS
• Experience on Cascading Or Nested CSS design
• Exposure to Responsive Design
• Strong foundation in usability, accessibility and ergonomics of UI design
• Working knowledge of DOTNET / JAVA and Ajax implementations.
• SVN or source management experience
• Knowledge of the Structured Query Language (SQL), relational database principles and JDBC connection technology
• Prototype experience
• Strong Web 2.0/RIA knowledge and experience
• Strong User Interfacing knowledge
• Database experience (e.g., MS SQL)
• Proficient in analyzing software requirements and documenting technical specifications for web applications / services
• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including design, testing, deployment, and documentation activities
• Aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts
• Experience managing the maintenance and administration of pre-production code environments
• Experience in developing new systems and maintaining existing systems
Requirements
• Overall IT experience of 6-8 Years
• Experience performing requirements gathering and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to Fulfill, Facilitate and Lead any or all UI development and team leading duties on a given project.
• Bachelor's degree.
GOOD TO HAVE:
• Team Lead experience - WBS Planning; Monitoring & Tracking; Status Reporting
• Ready for Customer facing role. To understand the requirements, create a WBS plan and allocate work within the team.
• Certified on HTML5, CSS3, JAVA SCRIPT and JQUERY
• Knowledge of Web standards, Mobile Device standards & guidelines, technologies, and terminology.
