Role. SAP BO/BOBJ Administrator
Location:- Florham Park, NJ
· 8+ years' experience in managing Business Objects infrastructure in UNIX/Linux platform.
· Individual will be primarily responsible for the design, installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of the SAP BI 4.0 & 4.1 environments.
· Individual will be responsible for providing the infrastructure for BI Developers, power users and end users.
· This is a technical role and requires an in-depth knowledge of how to administer the business objects platform.
· In addition, knowledge of the various tools within the Business Objects suite (Crystal Reports, Webi, Universes -UDT/IDT and Design Studio) is critical.
· Install, upgrade, configure, administer and monitor Business Objects products including Crystal, WEBI, Universes and Design Studio.
· Act as a primary technical contact to Business Objects for support and enhancement issues.
· Lead and participate in the plan, design, deployment and implementation of various SAP BI versions.
· Provide expert assistance and guidance on BOE tool and system related issues to report developers.
· Coordinate with System and Network Administrators on infrastructure impact and changes.
· Trouble shoot issues reported and document root cause analysis. Escalate issues to the software vender as needed.
· Support the development of Business Objects enterprise reporting solutions, to include Business Objects universe design and development, and report design/development using web intelligence, Crystal Reports and Design Studio.
