LOCATION: Philadelphia PA
DURATION: 12-18 months and may even go to 36
INTERVIEW PROCESS: 1st Interview is phone screen, 2nd Interview F2F
Strong ETL/SSIS skills in the investment domain (asset management, fixed income, mutual funds, options, equities)
C#, .NET development, SQL Server background - ability to write C# code as needed, but more focused on ETL/SSIS
Must have investment domain experience
Transforming entire tech platform including data management, ETL, business process management, web presence, etc.
Minimum 7 years experience in information technology as an application developer, with at least 2 years in the Finance industry
Proven problem solving skills and the ability to independently debug and diagnose problems
Programming experience:
o 7 years experience coding Transact-SQL, stored procedures, triggers and analysis of query plans using Sybase 15 and/or SQL Server 2008
o Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) tools (e.g. SSIS, Pervasive, Informatica, etc)
o Reporting tools (e.g. Actuate, Crystal Reports)
o Batch Scheduling tools (e.g. Autosys, Control-M)
o Datamart/Business Intelligence (e.g. OLAP, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
o Experience coding C#.Net
o Microsoft frameworks including WPF, WCF, Silverlight, JQuery, and ASP.Net
o Development of solutions using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Experience with enterprise integration using technologies such as WebMethods or similar technology desirable
Experience using IIS 6.0 and IIS 7.5 and familiarity with IIS authentication mechanisms would be an advantage
