Experience & Skills
5+ years of Software QA experience. 2+ years of experience with Selenium, TestNG Framework, Jenkins, Chef, Qunit, Junit, and related technologies. Demonstrated experience with QA for high-traffic, high-availability applications. Demonstrated experience with QA of SOAP and REST web services including automation of both. Experience with QA for mobile devices (Android and iOS). Competent in the use of source code control systems such as SVN or GIT and IDEs such as Eclipse. Power user of defect tracking systems and test management systems. Experience in Jira and Zephyr highly preferred. Excellent understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Ajax, Angular JS). Experience with Online Video Platform technologies. Proficient with programming in Java and or any scripting language like ruby, python. Experienced in using web traffic inspecting tools such as Firebug, Fiddler, and Charles web proxy. Job Responsibilities
Plan, Implement and oversee QA practices and procedures that will accommodate rapid scale, improve efficiency, and ensure product quality. Act in a direct role to execute manual and automated quality assurance tests and document software defects. Create and maintain test cases, test data, test plans and defect reports. Participate in early story development and design sessions to suggest and assist in acceptance criteria, boundary tests, and automation plans. Identify, communicate and mitigate risks within each software release. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Interpersonal Skills
Able to work independently at a high level while part of a larger team. Very high attention to detail, completeness, and an eye towards process and quality improvement at all times. Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to focus on the day-to-day while continuing to execute on the long-term vision of the product. Strong ability to resolve conflicts constructively; a great attitude. Education: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject. |
