Role: IBM Sterling Connect Direct Architect
Location: Omaha, NE
Duration: 6 Months +
Required Skills:
· Total 8+yrs experience and 4+ yrs in IBM Sterling Commerce File Gateway
· Expert knowledge of Sterling Secure Transport, IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, IBM Sterling Connect Direct, and IBM Sterling File Gateway highly desired.
· Migration of secure file gateway configurations from third party to Sterling File Gateway
· Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows
· New installation of Connect Direct
· New configuration of Connect Direct nodes
· Secure+ configuration on both UNIX and Windows
· Identifying the servers that are with outdated Connect Direct software and scheduling plans to upgrade them to the latest version
· Small scripts to check if the files are transferred on the specified date
· Removal of Connect Direct nodes where the servers are decommissioned
· Applying maintenance patches for different Connect Direct nodes
· Updating the term licenses with new non expiring licenses in line with the policy of the Bank
· Working on Connect Direct processes to fix the bugs in the code
· On-call cover for the BAU activities out of business hours
· Project lead for the offshore team and is the point of contact for all the technical queries
· Responsible for all the OMI and PMR related deliverables as a lead
