Business Analyst
6 month contract
Jacksonville, FL
- Responsible for assisting the project manager with project activities and deliverables related to enterprise level solutions.
- Collaborate with related departments / experts to present a united team focused on meeting the needs of business owners / stakeholders.
- Creating streamline and automated processes for future state.
- Define and document business and functional requirements as required
- Develop solutions for achievement of business project objectives
- Develop subject matter expertise in the areas of business control.
- Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions. Identify business opportunities and develop recommendations; drive solutions for business process improvement opportunities.
- Provide project / task management support as required
- Work with various business, technology, and vendor to determine best solutions and approach in.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent computer skills with strong emphasis on Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills a must 2+ years previous experience as a business analyst role
- Previous mortgage servicing experience preferred and / or financial services industry experience a plus Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to grasp concepts quickly and strong ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to make decision and quickly respond to changing priorities
- Process improvement and process re-engineering skills
- Ability to work independently; as necessary overtime may be required
- Ability to travel, if needed.
- Ability to work closely with users and technical team.
