Must Have Skills:
Technical Competencies
Working knowledge and hands on experience with:
• SAP BPC 10NW in the area of Consolidation, Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting Models
– Extensive Experience developing and testing:
– Logic Scripts for complex calculations
– Reports based on multiple sources
– Calculation based on multiple models
• SAP BW Web-based and formatted reporting and analysis, Portal Integration
– Extensive Experience developing and testing:
– Info Cubes, ODS/DSO, Info Objects, Transformations, Multi providers and Info sets, BExanalyzer, Sound Knowledge on BEx Query Designer, Structures, Filters, Free Characters, Conditions, Exceptions, Calculated Key Figures, Restricted Key Figures and Variables.
– Process chains (RSPC) for master data loads and transaction data loads with the help of Info Packages.
• SAP HANA
• SAP BOBJ
Minimum of 5 years SAP BPC experience
Job Role / Responsibilities:
• Review Business Requirements and Functional Requirements document to recommend changes and understand the application functionality/changes.
• Manage and coordinate change request testing activities and timelines to meet planned implementation dates .
• Perform moderate to complex analysis of business requirements and technical design documentation to effectively create test scripts
• Develop detailed Test Plans based on Test Strategy and based on the understanding of the system & other documentation.
• Create Positive & Negative Test Scenarios and Test Cases based on Functional requirements, Technical & Interface specifications.
• Document & maintain Test Scenarios and Test Cases.
• Execute Test Cases for Functional and Functional Regression Testing.
• Log, track, and verify resolution of software and specification defects
• Raise detailed defects or issues based on Test Execution results
• Coordinate deployment of fixes, retest defects, communicate results
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other QA analysts, Developers, Configuration Analysts and Managers
• Plans, develops, and executes various components of system testing and/or quality assurance.
• Approaches testing and quality assurance from a business point of view by creating test scripts and scenarios to ensure delivered functionality meets the business need.
• Manage and coordinate change request testing activities and timelines to meet planned implementation dates.
• Perform moderate to complex analysis of business requirements and technical design documentation to effectively create test scripts
• Develop detailed Test Plans based on Test Strategy and based on the understanding of the system & other documentation.
• Develops specific test conditions and expected results forfunctional and regression Test Scenarios and Test Cases based on Functional requirements, and Technical & Interface specifications.
• Provides daily guidance to the testing efforts of the application project teams.
• Reviews product requirements and design specifications to create a QA test plan.
• Executes test scripts to validate test cases, including creating and executing complex automated test scripts. Creates QA test procedures to assure accurate and repeatable test results.
• Creates test estimates from design documentation and creates quality assurance project schedules.
• Creates documents to apprise project team members as to the status of meeting defined quality goals. These may include: QA Status Report, QA Summary Reports, QA Test Logs, Maintain issue and defect databases.
• Conducts defect management meetings and status review meetings.
• Provides quality assurance feedback throughout the project life cycle.
• Provides status reports to project business owner
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other QA analysts, Developers, Configuration Analysts and Managers
