Description:
Seeking a Business Analyst with healthcare claims experience for an opportunity in downtown Chicago. This position will be working with business partners within multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies; eliciting, documenting, and refining business requirements for the IT organization. This role will also serve as a liaison across multiple facets of the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs; leveraging an informed knowledge of business areas to identify and/or resolve problems on an ongoing basis.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Ability to translate high-level business requirements into functional/system requirements for the organization and manage changes to such specifications
- Full lifecycle software project experience; understanding how tasks are integrated to produce final deliverables
- Previous healthcare claims experience is a huge plus
- Familiarity with business process design and aid the high-level business process design efforts with assistance of the stakeholders and end users
- Experienced working with SDM application support/requirements
- Skilled with elicitation and documentation of business and system/functional requirements for all approved changes to business processes, and systems & policies
- Well versed with documentation of user acceptance test plans and test cases
- Define and document requirements utilizing standardized tools and techniques
- Demonstrate an expertise in business processes and systems
- Can serve as liaison between developers and business
- Experienced obtaining consensus by facilitating communication and sign-off between business and IT from initial requirements to final implementation
- Function as a key contributor to the release management team, promoting both business and IT requirement understanding and agreement
- Escalate requirement and testing issues and changes to requirements and testing support manager
