Role: Actuate BIRT
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 6+ Months
Note: LOCALS Needed as the consultant must attend an In-Person Interview
Must-Have: Advanced Open Text/Actuate BIRT report development (Licensed Version), experience administering / optimizing Actuate iServer, JAVA/J2EE, JavaScript, Oracle/SQL, PL/SQL
Good-to-Have: ANT, SVN, any other reporting tool, Hibernate, Seam/Spring, JSF, JBoss AS
Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role :
· To develop Actuate BIRT reports using different data sources(Oracle, web services) and also extensive knowledge on BIRT scripting
· Be able to design layout, bind parameters, write logic in report and/or query, performance tune, asynchronous and synchronous report
· To create reports using different components like table, list, grid and charts(Bar chart/Line Chart/Pie Chart/Scattered Chart) in Actuate BIRT report
· To be able to create the datasets needed to provide ad-hoc business queries
· Manipulate reports through scripting and charts using chart scripting.
· To deploy reports in Actuate iHUB Server. Advanced charting and data manipulation using dynamic scripting in both Regular and HTML5 reports

Desired Skills:
· Seeking an individual to provide technical consultation to the department and asset support for the security and Identity Management domains
· Individual should have a basic understanding of security and security controls as they relate to ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability
· Technical knowledge should include various authentication methods (e.g. Kerberos, NTLM, claims-based, PKI), Siteminder, Active Directory and other CA tools

Desired Skills:
· 6+ years experience in QA
· Grey Box and Black Box testing required.
· API framework testing required
· SQL queries -experience creating and running SQL queries.
· Experience testing Web Services (SOAP and REST protocols) and server applications without a UI required.
· Solid UNIX/Linux experiences a plus.
