Kindly support me as I am working on the following positions.

#1) Title: Cobol Install 1 Developer

Location: Columbus, OH

Rate: DOE

Length: Twelve Months

Description: Must have Install 1 experience.

• Mainframe programming and analysis services on commercial lines systems Business Owners system in support of the Commercial Segmentation program.
• With full competency, designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements complex hardware/software components, tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of systems.
• Coordinates with users to determine requirements.
• Reviews systems under development and related documentation.
• Makes complex modifications to existing hardware/software to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintains program libraries and technical documentation.
• May coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs.
• Acts as a formal and/or informal mentor to less experienced associates.

 

#2) Title: Managing Solution Architect-AWS Redshift Architect

Location: New Brunswick, NJ

Rate: DOE

Length: Six months

Description: Resource will be responsible for design, development, automation of the process to load data into AWS redshift by taking data from existing oracle datawarehouse

Experience working with Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, Redshift, Data Pipeline)
Experience working with Amazon Web Services RDS, SNS/SQS/SWF, Pig and/or Hive is preferred
Solid understanding of SQL and have worked extensively with SQL
Competent working in Linux development environment
Have knowledge on redshift schema design, performance optimization, capacity planning
Worked extentsively in performance tuning, load distribution, defining sort keys, distribution keys, query performance.
Have past working experience in Oracle
Needs to have experience with various data structures, information management concepts and big data concepts in order to determine the appropriate implementatio
n of the solution
experience recommending data architectures and information design and the ability to present and defend your approach using reference materials , standard metho
ds and logic.
Hands on experience with redshift Copy commands, data types etc.
Able to design and implement automation of the process using scheduling tools like data pipeline or SWF.

#3) Title: Hadoop Architect

Location: Atlanta, GA

Rate: DOE

Length: Three months

Description: At least 2-3 yrs of experience in architecture, design and implementation of HortonWorks integration with existing DW platforms

Experience with Apache Spark and knowledge in Spark core libraries is strongly preferred
2-3 yrs of hands-on experience in atleast 3 out of Pig, Squoop, NOSQL DB, Storm, HBase
Analyze technical needs, requirements, and state of the client's infrastructure design, integration, and operations with business analyst team and the client.
Research software and hardware services, and define most cost-effective solutions to meet client requirements.
Collaborate with Project Managers and estimate cost involved in the solution design proposed and compare with customer's budgets; develop overall solution implementation plan.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science or related field preferred; minimum of five (5) or more years of experience in devising and deploying solution designs and/or software development; experience working in a large global IT environment strongly preferred
Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem - HDFS, MapReduce, Pig/Hive, Squoop, Hbase.
Good knowledge of Unix/Linux, Ruby, Python, Perl or other scripting languages.
Development knowledge of J2EE and design patterns in a distributed, multi-platform, heterogeneous computing environment.
Strong understanding of Software development life cycle
Strong understanding of Information architecture models
Good understanding about database structure and networking
Good understanding of technologies and client business
Ability to construct an approach/plan for the execution of priorities
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment

 

 

#4) Title: Functional Maximo Testers

Location: Columbus, OH

Rate: Daily basis

Length: One year

Description: Functional Tester

Responsible for the design, documentation, creation, and execution of functional testing of an application leveraging client based testing tools i.e. Client QC. Ot
her responsibilities include:
Has 5+ years' experience; operates independently, assists Junior Functional Testers, and can act as Team Lead on small projects. Responsibilities may inclu
de: validating high-level testing estimates, reviewing requirements, writing and reviewing test cases, executing test cases, writing and reviewing test plans, s
supporting test strategy creation, and report testing statuses to management.
