Data Modeler/Developer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 12+ Months, then potential extensions

Client: Investment Firm

Rate: $55/hr on C2C  

 

Phone, then onsite or WebEx/Skype!!!!

 

Primary duties:

OLAP/multi-dimensional model development/enhancement and integration.

To support Capital Stress Testing project delivery including future state architecture, TM1 integration with up and downstream systems, new cubes (as needed), T1 rules, processes development, feature exploitation and general TM1-related consulting to the project team.

 

Job Duties:

Act as systems requirements lead for TM1-related process automation, directing and coordinating requirements, project staff and activities.

Oversee production support of core projects, including gathering and documenting requirements, translating functional requirements to technical requirements, preparing and managing the project plan, and recommending solutions.

Partner with business users and act as a liaison between business and technical teams.

Coordinate development, testing, and implementation of solutions with vendors.

 

Required minimum qualifications include:

Demonstrated experience as a TM1 Business Systems Analyst / Developer.

TM1 development experience; TM1 certification preferred.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, PowerPoint and Word and a master level of knowledge in Excel.

Project management experience/knowledge, with ability to drive deliverables to successful completion working within and with other teams.

Experience and understanding of Agile and RUP Methodology in developing use cases and user stories, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules is essential

Solid understanding of relevant business issues associated with Finance and/or Regulatory Reporting

Prior experience interfacing with various partners, including vendors, offshore development teams, and internal groups

Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills

Excellent proficiency in working with numbers

Excellent written/verbal communication skills; Fluent in the English language

Strong knowledge of MS Project, MS Word and Visio along with general familiarity with Outlook and other MS Office applications is required

Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously

 

In addition, ideal candidates will also have the following desired qualifications:

BA/BS degree

Background experience in Finance

8+ years (Expert) TM1 design, development

 

Additional Job Details:

development SQL experience and familiarity with data warehouse tables and a basic understanding of Enterprise data warehouse concepts Functional experience in Finance on major ERP systems like PeopleSoft Financials (9.1 or higher)
