Ø Excellent Experience in Requirement gathering, Application Design, Data Modeling, Development, Testing and Documentation.
Ø Extensive experience in the Data Warehousing concepts, Extract Transform Load (ETL), data quality, reporting tools, metadata management and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
Ø Familiar in Creating Secondary indexes and Join indexes in Teradata.
Ø Extensive Experience in Performance Tuning of the Database, SQL and ETL code and writing efficient and complex queries on huge volumes of data.
Ø Expertise in database programming in writing Stored Procedures, Macros, Views in Teradata.
Ø Strong understanding of the principles of Data warehousing, slowly changing Dimension techniques, Fact Tables, Dimension Tables, snowflake schema, star schema, Physical and Logical Data modelling.
Ø Extensively worked in monitoring Teradata jobs in UNIX environment and specializing in Autosys jobs.
Ø Worked on designing the ETLs to move the transactional data to the warehouses in real time and scheduled on specific time intervals.
Ø Good knowledge on Agile Methodology and the scrum process
Ø Expertise in developing Test Cases based on Functional specifications and Technical Specifications, worked with DBAs in assigning the space and privileges for the departmental needs.
Ø Complete knowledge of full life cycle design (SDLC) and development for building Data Warehouse.
Ø Have Experience in Leading a Team in development as well as production support.
Ø Worked closely with Teradata Development, Testing, Pre-Production and Production teams to align project deliverables within due dates and reporting issues.
Ø Involved in production support activities during on call and resolved database issues.
Ø Very good experience in customer facing skills and release and change management.
Ø Strong problem solving, analytical, interpersonal skills, communication skills and have the ability to work both independently and as a team.
Ø Well Experienced in Incident, Problem, Knowledge and Report Management process in Service Now Tool. Performed lead role to manage the support teams and also as Problem Manager, Knowledge and Report Manager as well as Major Incident Escalation Manager (Branch Lead) role in the support group.
Ø Excellent organizational and analytical abilities teamed with effective oral and communication skills.
