IT Delivery Manager I
Serve as Delivery Manager for Key and complex Treasury and Investment Accounting initiatives. This person will be responsible and accountable for successful end-to-end project delivery as measured by: On-Time, On-Budget, With Quality and Customer Satisfaction.
Duties / Responsibilities
* Facilitates and helps in obtaining, reviewing and documenting business requirements
* Works with the different business areas to prepare the project for implementation, including coordinating communications, process changes and training.
* Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing complex application and system implementation projects using a formal project management methodology.
* May manage multiple program releases of moderate size concurrently.
* Help develop strategic plans for projects of high business complexity.
* Develop detailed plans and schedules using MS Project.
* Develop integrated plans tracking milestones across multiple enterprise initiatives
* Monitor project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule.
* Assist in establishing and improving project management methodologies, procedures and policies.
* Present project-related presentations for executive-level leadership
* Direct and frequent involvement in sponsor, client, and customer relations to ensure that service expectations are met
* Ensures established project budget and schedule are met
* Partner with Business areas to assist with Business Case requests for project funding.
* Adhere to Project Management Office policies, procedures and methodologies.
* Possess thorough knowledge of PMI standards and terminology (including PMBOK)
* Coach and mentor individuals on the project teams and provides feedback on performance to their leaders.

1.Proven experience successfully managing complex IT initiatives in the financial industry, either directly (banking or investment firm) or indirectly (serving Treasury function at the corporate level) - 10 Years
2.Proven experience successfully managing large teams of diverse resources 10 Years

Required Skills/Experience
* Demonstrated strong leadership skills
* Minimum 10 years experience running IT projects
* IT experience within the financial industry experience required, IT experience in banking, investment firm or treasury function at the corporate level preferred
* Proven experience managing large multimillion dollar projects that have significant business implications
* Proven experience as a key participant and/or managing large-scale COTS initiatives
* Keen understanding of key success factors for large scale, multi-year initiatives
* Conversant in, and basic understanding of, financial, investment and accounting nomenclature
* Ability to achieve forward progress and maintain momentum in a long-term project environment (ability to manage volatility, uncertainty)
* Ability to participate at a key level in the process of distilling strategic goals into actionable tactical plans
* Ability to interpret and adapt prescribed incumbent software delivery methodology for a COTS delivery landscape while maintaining adherence/fidelity to incumbent methodology.
* A take charge approach and desire to remove project road blocks, resolve issues and mitigate risks
* Demonstrated experience in building win- win relationships with Business and IS partners
* Successful record of Project Work Plan (resource, cost, and time) management
* Experience with projects that have multiple stakeholders
* Ability to manage engagements with executive level visibility and interaction
* Must have the discipline and rigor to optimally use the project management tools (e.g. MS Plan Enterprise) to produce and deliver high quality project plans, status updates and reports
