Role : Hyperion Essbase/ETL Tester
Location : Los Angeles, CA
Duration : 4+ months
Desired skills and responsibilities:
- QA Lead to be part of Oracle Hyperion functional and interface testing team.
- Min of 5 year experience with Hyperion Essbase System 11x (ASO and BSO cubes) in a large, distributed user environment.
- Previous experience with Oracle Hyperion Integration testing
- In-depth understanding of Hyperion objects like Business Rules, Load Rules, Maxl Scripts.
- Good understanding of Finance business processes like budgeting, planning, forecasting etc.
- Perform software quality reviews of functional requirements, logical designs, and detailed physical designs.
- Contribute to testing strategy, planning, execution, maintenance, and results.
- Adhere to best practices with configuration and change management of software components.
- Software Quality Assurance and Software Testing which includes Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion DRM, Hyperion Planning, and Smart View.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience providing Software QA and Testing services.
- Experience working with business staff, onsite/offshore teams.
- Knowledge of HP Quality Center 10.x or higher version.
- JIRA or similar exposure is a plus.
- Experience with various SDLC processes and how various QA activities and quality-centered best practices fit into such product development lifecycles.
- Experience in waterfall and agile methodology preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have worked at onsite for atleast 3 years
- Banking experience is a plus
