Job Description(AIX Admin):
Responsibilities
• Building new server's from scratch including VIO server's and VIO clients
• Install software, apply patches, manage file systems, monitor performance and troubleshoot alerts from monitoring tools.
• System failure analysis and recovery; insuring the consistency and integrity of file systems.
• Business continuity planning and implementation
• Hardware/software configuration and management
• Liaison with vendors/ customer for new hardware / software install , technology upgrades and troubleshooting
• Manage and lead hardware and software migration and upgrade efforts of varying size and complexity.
Required Technical Skills
• 5-6 years of professional systems maintenance experience in a UNIX data center environment.
• Virtual I/O server build and configuration
• Experienced to work on AIX 6.1 and AIX 7.1
• NPIV and VSCSI disk mappings
• EMC Power path will be add on
• Knowledge of EMC disk system from Server side
• Knowledge of ASM disk system
• VIO's up gradation or migration
• AIX up gradation or migration
• Good Knowledge of LVM
• Performance tuning
• Knowledge of power HA will be add on.
Job Description(Windows Server Admin):
Responsibilities:
Candidate must be ready to work in 24x7 shift based Windows Admin Build and Migration support work. Candidate must have –
The key qualification for this position is that the Candidate needs to be able to build ESX hosts, ESX clusters, and has supported an ESX environment (adding storage, adding networks, trunking VLANs, adding switches).
Required Skills:
• Must have hands on experience in Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 network operating systems in a mixed environment.
• Experienced with Microsoft Active Directory administration and security.
• Experienced with Microsoft DNS, DHCP
• Experience working with and maintaining VMware vSphere 5.
• Microsoft Group Policy deployment to ensure standard computer settings, software distribution and security policy enforcement.
• Experience with administration and deployment of Citrix servers as well as Citrix farm administration with 150 or more servers in a XenServer environment
• Experience with Citrix Xenapp version 6 server deployment and administration
• Edge Site Advanced administration, NETSCALER administration and engineering as well as experience in mission-critical enterprise server environments performing network engineering (hardware and software) and designing, planning, and implementing servers and infrastructure using the latest technology
• Knowledge of installing, configuring, and upgrading Citrix solutions including XenApp Platinum Edition (EdgeSite, Password Manager, and Smart Access) Citrix Access Gateway, XenDesktop, NETScaler, WANScaler and GSLB
• Create, develop and update documentation for all configurations, standards and critical procedures within the XenApp or vSphere where applicable
• Administer Citrix licensing and resolve licensing issues to ensure licensing compliance of any installed applications within the environment
• Assist with daily responsibilities that include, but not limited to, management of server images, application and OS installations and images, deploying physical servers and documentation.
• Reset user roaming profiles.
• Assign users to published applications.
• Log off hung sessions.
• Troubleshoot server connectivity issues and verify that servers are available to users.
• Troubleshoot printing issues.
• Update documentation to reflect changes or fixes to Citrix servers.
• Create new server images, install apps, and configure XenApp.
• Candidate must have strong experience managing physical and virtual servers.
• Strong knowledge in managing server health, server migrations and deployments, optimizing power consumption, and performance.
• Candidate must have strong Enterprise data experience.
• Consultant will be responsible for the rapid deployment and provisioning of ProLaint of DL and BL servers, utilizing MDT
• Prior experience migrating legacy servers, such as x86 to new ProLiant servers, while retaining data OS, applications, configurations.
• Consultant should also have knowledge of physical to virtual migrations, preferably utilizing VMware, ESX 5.1.
• Expertise in managing a virtualized environment with VMware
• In-depth knowledge of VMware ESXi 4.x and V-Sphere 5.x. Able to architect, design, build, and maintain that platform
• Knowledge to design and maintain Windows core services
• VMware v-Center is a Must.
• Looking for a Windows server Engineer to help provision servers for upcoming projects.
• This Engineer should have an understanding of the steps required to build a server utilizing MDT, VMware and Server provisioning tool
• Should be able to install, configure and maintain Citrix Xen app 6.0
• Candidate should have knowledge on EMC storage - To run EMC Grab , Power path and LUN migration
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:
• HP Proliant DL and BL series servers
• Windows Server 2008 SR2; VM ESX 5.1, V-Center/ P2V migration
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating system (Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Windows 2012).
• In-depth knowledge of Windows interoperability with LAN and SAN.
• Familiarity with VMware concepts and how they apply to a highly virtualized environment.
• Good Knowledge of third party vendor applications such as Web and JAVA applications.
• Strong Knowledge of IIS, FTP, SFTP, WSFTP and web based application publishing and handling.
• Knowledge of Security patches installation process on server environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Citrix Xen App installation and configuration. Build Knowledge of new Windows servers with OS 2003, 2008 & 2012 is must.
• Installation of Citrix Presentation server 4.0/ XenApp 4.5/5.0 & Citrix Client Tools.
• Configuration of Citrix server policies, Load Management and Printers in the Farm.
• Expertise in creating Citrix Streaming Profiles and Publishing Applications to users in Citrix Xen App 4.5/5.0.
• Ability to design an Active Directory implementation as well as develop and detail cost estimates for an Active Directory implementation. Storage Area Network (SAN), host bus adapter (HBA), connectivity knowledge.
