Technical Project Manager

Boston, MA

Length of contract: 6-12 months

Phone & In person Required

 

Bureau of Health Care Safety & Quality

(Office of Prescription Monitoring & Drug Control):

 

Must be Healthcare Domain Experience.

Skills & Experience:

 

¨  Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible experience, including experience successfully managing various projects (in 'healthcare' –Required ).

¨  A working proficiency with the following tools:
ü MS-Project, ProjectManager.com, or a similar Project Management tool
ü A Project Portfolio Management System (PPM)
ü A Knowledge Management System (KMS)
ü MS-Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, etc.)

¨  Strong issue & problem management skills, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.

¨  Strong adherence to source control, version management, or configuration management practices.

¨  Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing (clearly and succinctly).

¨  Comfortable with all methods of communication (i.e. email, mobile, texts, etc.)

¨  Experienced in providing ongoing maintenance and support of IT systems and User communities

¨  Capable of working independently or as part of a large team.

¨  Experience in maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.

¨  Understands how and when to make a choice; how and when to escalate issues to higher levels. Analyzes the risks and future impact of decisions. Makes decisions and takes timely independent action in pursuit of priorities.
