Required:
Working knowledge of troubleshooting issues on ESXi 5.x
Experience building ESXi host and clusters
Experience opening and managing support requests with VMware
Experience performing and troubleshooting physical to virtual server migrations

Skills:
Good comfort level with PowerShell (PowerCLI) and/or Perl (vSphereCLI) scripting environments for automation
Experience in supporting Active Directory infrastructure
Current VCP certification

Responsibilities:
Provide guidance to tier 1 for successful issue resolution, troubleshooting, and procedure implementation for daily activities
Create and update procedure documentation for tier 1 and 2
Server as escalation point for issues from tier 1 to assure timely and reliable resolution
Perform change management activities to review tier 1 and 2 changes to ensure compliance with required controls
Participate in on-call rotation providing support for tier 1 escalations.
