Role: Tibco Application Architect

Location: Schaumburg, IL

Duration: 12 months

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:

• In-Depth expertise in the software design, development, and implementation of B2B and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solutions using TIBCO software products, including Business Works, Enterprise Message Service, GI and CIM

• Should be well versed in TIBCO architecture and implementation of solutions

• Should be able to implement application specific solutions using TIBCO software products

• Should be able to lead and mentor the team through hands-on, knowledge sharing, mentoring and training

• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills suitable for a diverse audience, with the ability to communicate in a positive, friendly and effective manner with 'technical' or 'non-technical' users/ customers.

• The ability to gather, collate, analyze information effectively from a range of sources to present and offer knowledgeable workable solutions

• Should have Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Will be responsible for End-to-End design of solutions for application in Retail domain.

• Manage implementation of application specific solutions using TIBCO software products

• Lead and Mentor others through doing, knowledge sharing, training, documenting guidelines, best practices and lessons learned

• Participate in Architecture reviews and Code Reviews

• Suggest solutions for Performance Improvement of applications using TIBCO product

• Should be involved in Planning, prioritizing and  estimation for solutions proposed

• Lead team of developers including teams at Off-shore and On-shore to deliver Quality solutions

• Communicate with End Users/BA to understand requirements

• Walkthrough of solutions with Users so that they are assured of meeting objective

• Be able to guide support team when needed in terms of architectural understanding of the application

• Solution Design / Implementation experience using non-TIBCO technologies

• Good proficiency in SQL / PLSQL for Unix – Oracle environment.

• Understanding of Retail / Consumer Business domain will be a plus
