· The first profile is for solid BE developers with exposure to developing complex applications, version 5.x a strong plus.
· The full suite would be Oracle (standard RDBMS stuff, doesn't need any exotic warehouse stuff), EMS (they're on server 8.1 with 5.1 client libs), BW, BE (currently on v. 3.x, moving to 5.x by mid-year [not a small undertaking], Active Spaces).
· The good solid BE side is an absolute must, she won't even look at somebody without that.
· These people would be used for many internal projects, some capital, some business as usual; has the sound of a COE to it, but they never used that phrase.
· Prior airline experience not that big of a deal... the really important thing is solid chops in complex BE work and strong communications.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
· 8+ years Business Analyst (Telecom preferred but not mandatory)
· Responsible for requirements gathering, analysis, detailed process flow design, user acceptance testing, and rollout of new and modified feature functionality deployed on the back office web applications.
· Interview and resolve issues with stakeholders' business rules, operation's specifications, and interface specification solutions as the initiation point for new technology requests.
· Clearly and concisely communicate business requirements to developers; interact with IT Development team through the Scrum process to clarify and resolve any issues.
· Gather and validate requirements, resulting in detailed business rules, functional requirements, and process design.
· Prepare graphical depictions of use cases (activity diagrams, system context diagrams, sequence diagrams, use case diagrams, wire frames, etc.).
· Work with technology team to identify system, data, and process dependencies for upstream and downstream application data flow.
· Facilitate the communication of new functionality to the broader business groups including Customer Service and warehouse operations ensuring all business units are prepared for the changes.
· Work closely with user interface web designers to create screen layouts with emphasis on user-friendliness, clarity, and consistency with applications and standards; assist with developing new standards.
· Create design specs for business logic, screens and feature functionality that are clear and complete; specs shall be used for development, testing, and training.
· May perform application testing prior to rollout as part of the user acceptance phase.
