Job Details:
Title : .NET Lead
Location : Lisle, IL
Duration : 6+ Months Contract
Qualified candidates, excluding current Client employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Client does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
Requirement:
Five (5) years' experience and advanced knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS) environment and tools including:
· .NET framework
· ADO.NET
· Web services, and .NET services (windows services)
· Visual Studio
· JavaScript, VB, VB Script, XML/XSL; Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
Experience architecting application solutions in an IIS environment
Experience writing SQL queries.
Experience with at least one of the following databases: DB2 (v8.0 or greater), DB2 query, and DB2 Connect, Oracle, SQL Server
Desired Skills:
Able to implement messaging including one or more of the following concepts: message queues, SOA, web services, and .NET services (windows services)
Experience defining logical and physical data models
Ability to translate functional designs into technical designs, and conversely to translate complex information into common terms
Must be a strong technical leader who can prioritize well and has the ability to work in environments with competing and alternating priorities, with a constant focus on delivery
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Well organized and is an exceptional communicator with his/her team, peers and leadership
Ability to both facilitate and actively participate in meetings with representatives from multiple business and/or IT units
Develops a positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members, and is able to influence decisions at the work group level
Accountable for partnering with key roles (enterprise architects, infrastructure, etc.) to create solutions that are aligned to architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services
Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science strongly preferred
