SharePoint 2013 Consultant
· Full lifecycle experience with medium (1200+ users) SP 2013 enterprise design, implementations, migration strategies and upgrades.
· Experience working with a client's internal business processes and developing detailed analysis of how to effectively deploy SharePoint throughout the enterprise environment
· Good understanding of the SharePoint security and compliance model
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the desire to work in a team environment across organization functional boundaries
· Strong analysis skills; the ability to make critical business recommendations and think strategically
· Ability to work efficiently in teams and/or independently without technical oversight or work review
· Technical, planning and design experience with:
o FAST Search development
o SharePoint Designer
o SQL Server and SQL Reporting Services
o Information architecture
o Physical topologies and services architecture
o Farm performance and availability; disaster recovery and availability; infrastructure capacity
o Integration to line of business and 3rd party systems; client application services deployment
· SharePoint development with Visual Studio including but not limited to:
· Visual Web Parts, Custom Workflows
· Custom Business Connectivity Models
· Event Receivers
· Custom Ribbon Bar, Custom Navigation, Dialog Framework Development, Content Type List, and Site Definitions
· Intimate knowledge of SharePoint API and Object Model; ability to develop using managed code and PowerShell scripting
· Ability to develop and extend the SharePoint platform (Sites, Communities, Content, Search, Insights and Composite Applications); ability to extend SharePoint lists and data to custom solutions using techniques such as REST, Object Model, LINQ and Client Access Model
SharePoint Consultant Needed:
Continue Push toward SharePoint 2013 Production Deployment
Provide Expert Guidance in SharePoint Best Practices for the following:
· Support for users from multiple domains
· Define an Enterprise Search Strategy
· Creation of a single "People directory
· Employ SharePoint 2013 Workflow
· Provide Guidance for implementing a Forms Strategy
· Provide SharePoint Migration Strategy (Quest SharePoint)
· Validate UAT and Production SharePoint Topologies
