Position: Android Mobile Developer

Location: Bellevue, Washington

Duration: 6 months

Extension Possible: Yes

Start Date:  Immediate

 

Key Activities

·         Design and develop native mobile applications for Android

·         Integrate mobile apps with RESTful web services

·         Work with UX Designers, Mobile Architects and other Developers to build enterprise mobile solutions

·         Interpret business requirements into technical requirements

·         Prepare detailed task breakdown based on requirements in the form of user stories and success criteria

·         Document task level estimates for each assigned user story/backlog item

·         Plan work in iterative fashion to maximum value delivered to customer over release plan

·         Independently deliver committed tasks on time with high quality to support scrum team success

·         Contribute to team's development best practices

·         Work as part of matrixed project teams

·         Prepare for and participate in daily scrum team stand-ups

Required Skills:

·         Demonstrated expertise with the Android SDK

·         Experience integrating JSON or XML based web-services

·         Experience with source/version control software, continuous integration, build processes.

·         Knowledge of app market deployment requirements and processes

·         Exposure to additional front-end technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery,CSS3

·         Solved for multiple screen dimensions to support many devices

·         Familiarity with Mobile security and performance considerations

·         Experience on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services

·         Knowledge/experience of Responsive Web design

·         Effective written and verbal communication skills.

·         Agile development experience

Desirable Skills:

·         Experience with angular, bootstrap or similar

·         Experience in any Mobile Payment projects or technologies (NFC, QR code, ApplePay etc.)

·         iOS development skills (Objective C, Xcode)
