Responsibilities & duties (Mandatory)
• Expert in Microsoft tools and technologies, particularly C#, NET MVC, Entity Framework, WCF, Web Servers and Oracle
• Must have thorough understanding of multi-tiered architecture - architecture principles, design patterns and best practices
• High attention to detail and aggressive troubleshooting skills
• Strong problem solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
• Design & Code auditing and Code clean activities
• Well versed with Service oriented architectures SOA and new technical advancements
• Ability to communicate technical issues or project details with Business & Technical Teams
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines as per Sprint plans
Project Description (Mandatory)
Rebos is web based intranet application developed using n-tier architecture (i.e. Presentation, Service, Business and Data layer) with each layer having a distinct functionality and responsibility in the application. Rebos will provide an automated system that will enable the Sales and Pricing teams to process potential electric retail opportunities in a significantly more efficient and effective manner.
Core components of system are Pricing Engine, Contract generation, Deal Capture and maintenance of Account level database.
Essential Skills
(including minimum years of experience required for each skill)
• ASP.NET MVC 4.0 (2+ years)•
• .NET 4.0 Framework (3+ years)
• Entity Framework (3+ years)
• Windows Communication Framework (4+ years)
• Web Services (2+ years)
• Team Foundation Server (4+ years)
• Experience in Inbound & Outbound File processing through C# (2+ years)
• Experience implementing solutions using 3rd party development tools (e.g. Telerik, Auto mapper, Aspose, Bootstrap etc.)
• Hands-on experience in developing MVC 4, jQuery, HTML5, Entity Framework, and Oracle based applications
Desirable Skills
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate ideas clearly
• Agile application development process
• Onshore experience
• Professional handling of customer interactions .
