Hadoop and Workload Mgmnt :

· Deep understanding of HDP Yarn components , workflows , incubations such as Tez , SOLR, distributed R and their impact on overall System

· Deep understanding on HBASE storage needs and resource optimization

· Correlating SLA's and Hardware limitations

· Resource and Workload Management and Scheduling

· Capacity planning and forecasting

· Knowledge on Schedulers such as TWS and Oozie

· Charting graphs from various system metrics and capture trends and outliers

Operations:

· Conversant in HDP framework deep knowledge in Hive, Pig and Mapreduce

· Troubleshoot and maintain HBASE applications

· Strong Unix shell scripting

· Hands on experience in TWS Scheduling, Control M or Oozie

· Familiar with continuous integration build products such as Ant, Jenkins and IFR

· Manage and resolve issues on a 24X7X365 basis, and as part of a on-call rotation

AUDIT - user & data access management

• Security audit, reporting requirements, preparation, documentation for audits and all administrative functions; New user requests; Existing user

verification; Data Access control verification; User Access Management system role creation and maintenance; ACL tie back

• Will setup and confirm all ACL/Data Protections in new Kings Mountain environment
