Presales Architects / Technical architects

We are recruiting Solution Architects across the US who will be responsible for technical presales activities working closely with the US sales teams for our Global Salesforce.com practice.
Expectations for the role are to own the overall technical solutioning aspects of our pursuits and proposals in their respective regions, prepare solution vision for Salesforce.com (SFDC) based proposals for our clients, jumpstart implementation projects and ensure smooth transition to the implementation teams. Senior members of our presales team act as the trusted advisors to our clients that are seeking to use visionary technologies from SFDC such as the Force.com platform, enterprise social collaboration tools from SFDC.
Key Responsibilities:
· Partner with sales and offshore delivery organizations at our firm for crafting of creating technical solutions based on the Force.com platform and Salesforce.com technologies
· Scoping, estimating and proposing of technical aspects of solutions and supporting the sales teams in client interactions. Areas of emphasis may include front and backend solution architecture, development and release management strategies at client organizations, change management, and hands-on leadership in designing solutions
· Leading and delivering technical work-stream of project including overseeing other technical team members, ensuring high quality, on-time delivery;
- Leading technical requirements gathering sessions and writing technical requirements documents;
- Leading technical design sessions and writing technical design documents;
- Managing and delivering integrations and custom extensions;
- Managing technical scope and client expectation;
· Responsible for providing hands on expert level assistance to developers for technical issues
· Manage, mentor and develop technical team members
· Travel regularly (average of 50%) for sales meetings, technical reviews and onsite delivery activities.
Job Requirements:
· B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience;
· 8+ years of experience managing external client projects in positions of increasing responsibility in the delivery of business consulting, systems development, and systems;
· Demonstrated success delivering professional services to enterprise clients and participating in selling . Experience with ISV clients desirable
· Demonstrated knowledge and experience with SFDC technologies with emphasis on the Platform components
· Experience defining and delivering custom Force.com enterprise applications in a technical and technical oversight/leadership role
· Experience evaluating and optimizing the user experience with technology as a key aspect of the project's success.
· A thorough understanding of Web Services, data modeling, and enterprise application integration concepts, including experience with Enterprise Integration tools, and common design patterns
· Conceptual knowledge of and how to integrate to social and other emerging technologies such as Facebook, Twitter, Radian6, Ruby, Heroku and mobile/tablet platform incorporation strategies and technologies.
· Experience with extraction, transformation and load (ETL) tools
· Demonstrated deployments of enterprise software systems
· Salesforce's DEV401 or DEV501certifications desirable

Director of Sales, Global SFDC Practice

We are recruiting quota carrying Sales Directors and Sales Executives across the US who will be responsible for leading the sales activities in their respective regions for our Global Salesforce.com (SFDC) practice. Activities include lead generation, relationship building with SFDC organization and end customers in their regions.
An effective Sales Director runs his/her own 'franchise' in the region, growing the business by consistently adding new clients.
In this role, the Sales Directors educate and influence client executives and SFDC account teams to leverage Persistent's Global SFDC practice's service capabilities and offerings as part of the overall solution. If you can leverage existing relationships with SFDC organization, that will be a major plus in this role.
Activities include growing relationships in their regions with the SFDC front end teams, customers and partners, identify and qualify opportunities, consultatively identify requirements and solution direction, coordinate the proposal preparation, client presentations and contract negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible in the region for growing Persistent's partnership with SFDC organization and joint customers
· Territory Management, strategic account planning and execution within the assigned region
· Identify and qualify potential opportunities and leads, pipeline management, networking with SFDC executives and customers in the region, public speaking, actively participating in SFDC events and by leveraging and growing existing relationships.
· Identify client issues and priorities and provide solutions based on Persistent's competencies

Job Requirements:

· Relationships with SFDC organization a major plus

Salesforce Business Analyst

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in an engineering position out of which at least 3+ years on Salesforce.com
• Acts as the liaison between internal users and stakeholders to analyze, document, communicate and validate business and system requirements
• Enforce sound development practices and ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions and serve as a trusted advisor
• Define the business use cases and document the user acceptance test cases and test plan. Work closely along with the QA team
