Need BA candidates with QA experience.


Client: BBVA

Location: Birmingham, AL (100% onsite)

Length: 6 month Rolling (Long-term open-ended)

Rate: $40/Hr. MAX

Interview Process: Would hire off of Phone/Skype (WE HAVE SET INTERVIEW TIMES)

 

Must-Haves:

·         Looking for a technical BA/QA (Will be a business analyst but will be testing what they write)

·         Has to be able to write SQL Queries

·         Has to have heavy Oracle experience and a solid data warehousing background

·         Has to have FLAWLESS 10/10 communication (Will be speaking with the lines of business)

·         **Banking background is a PLUS but not a Must-Have

 

This position will be responsible for facilitating ongoing enhancements for the CAMD application.

Position responsibilities and capabilities include:
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis. 
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. 
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document) and Interface designs) 
• Utilize your experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required. 
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously 
• Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers 
• Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans 
• Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. 
• Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow. 
• Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language. 
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

Required Knowledge/Skills (Excellent organization skills, etc.) and IT Skills (ex. Programming skills with Java, Cobol, etc.)

The ideal candidate will have significant process and procedure development, technical writing and project management experience. Analyst, Self-starter, good verbal and written communication skills, Query/SQL (Oracle), Excel.   Candidate should have banking or financial experience with knowledge of deposits, loans, or general ledger transaction systems beneficial. Experience in IT project based environment.

- Exhibits the ability work within a team environment with a track record of achieving challenging objectives. 
- Requires strong communication skills and the ability to understand and simplify complex material. 
- Ability to quickly recognize solutions to arising issues

- Performance-based enterprise and strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously

Top Skills:

1. Technical BA or lead/PM 5-7+ years' experience and specifically 2-3 years with Identity Management technologies such as SailPoint or Sun IDM/Oracle IDM (Sailpoint preferred)

2. Project leadership ability - keep projects on task; work with end users and managers to gather requirements for the migration

3. SQL - ability to read and understand SQL scripts and make modifications if necessary

4. JSP (Java Server Page) - ability to modify and edit existing code (10% of the role)

 

Job Description:              

Large Enterprise client Headquartered in Memphis, TN is in need of a senior level technical BA/Lead to help prepare them for their migration from Sun IdM over to Sailpoint. In preparation for this migration, the analyst will help the team keep projects on task; work with end users and managers to gather requirements for the migration write and execute SQL statements that will be used to pull information from the database. About 10% of this role will be modifying and editing existing JSP code  for reports that are currently written in JSP. These reports are being used to determine readiness for the migration and will also be used during the integration for troubleshooting and compliance purposes.

 

Really nice must haves:

- Experience with connectors/integration touch points

- Any BI experience

- Custom Sail Point reports

- Tracebility/Trackability matrix

- Experience with QA/testing and creating test cases

Sr. Java/J2EE Developer Product Developer

WORK LOCATION:

Mountainview, CA, USA

PROJECT ROLE:

 

•        Must have strong knowledge Software Engineering Product experience background.

•        Understand the software product life cycle development process.

•        5+ years of experience developing web applications in Java/J2EE

•        Very strong coding skills in Java

•        Experience in working on: Server side technologies such as Servlets/JSP, JMS

•        Experience in Spring, Hibernate frameworks

•        Experience with XML, JSON and REST Services.

•        Experience with Mule or Carmel ESB

•        App Servers and Web servers such as Apache, Tomcat, and mod_jk

•        Experience in SQL and RDBMS

•        Experience in back-end system integration and development

•        Experience with unit testing

•        Experience with JavaScript and UI frameworks is a plus

•        Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

•        Ability to recognize & apply design patterns based on technical requirements/problem domains

•        Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies

Description:

The Analyst/Programmer contributes to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of custom system software, and/or the installation and maintenance of purchased systems software, as well as the configuration and support of hardware systems across sites. Regularly reviews applications and makes modifications and/or updates to ensure currency and functionality within established environment. Maintains and supports multiple systems or complex software applications and their associated hardware at multiple sites. The Analyst/Programmer produces and maintains documentation such as system requirements, designs, resource inventories, and plans. Provides technical and project leadership to other staff members, demonstrates initiative, and works independently as needed to accomplish responsibilities. Applies effective system design principles and software development methodologies. Possesses a high level of project and deliverable consistency through demonstrated repeatable and reliable performance. Must have ability to take initiative and proactive on starting tasks and assignments and have had exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications.

 

Prefer bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience. Good communication skills are required.
